What Can I Access in WebGrants?
WebGrants is UWinnipeg's 'one-stop shop' for information on your internal and external research grants, human ethics and animal ethics protocols. Application forms for internal research grants, human ethics and animal ethics can be found under 'Funding Opportunities'.
Grant Account Numbers (for internal and external research grants), Amendment forms, Renewal forms and Final Reports are also located in WebGrants. To find grant account numbers go to 'My Grants' and click on the title of the grant, and then on General Information.
Amendment and Renewal forms are found by going to 'My Grants', clicking on the title of the grant and Post-Approval Activity. Final Reports are found in the same area under Status Reports.
Summer: UHREB and UACC do not meet during July and August
All faculty human and animal ethics review applications (new applications) will ONLY be accepted via WebGrants.

To ensure compliance with the TCPS2, the University Human Research Ethics Board (UHREB), with the support of Dr. Jino Distasio, Vice-President, Research and Innovation, has set completion of the federal Panel on Research Ethics Course On Research Ethics online tutorial (CORE) as a requirement for human research ethics reviewers and all researchers whose research with human participants falls under the auspices of the University of Winnipeg. This requirement applies to any faculty members, thesis supervisors, course instructors, post-doctoral fellows, graduate and undergraduate students, as well as research/laboratory staff, project managers, and research assistants who will be responsible for recruiting or interacting with human participants or who will have access to data containing identifying information about human participants. Please read the policy document for details and timelines for completion.
